Scrabbled Loser
Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms everywhere…. but especially my mom.
Ryan is such an even-keel, level-headed fellow… unless it’s a competitive situation… especially board games…. especially Scrabbled.

I like how the flying letters-of-death spell “SQUID.”
Ryan’s winning at Scrabble, but, wait, Randie’s about to win at it too.
Randie was obviously not playing to win, just have fun. But there’s no fun to be had in playing Ryan. He doesn’t make a good winner, sure rubs-in advice, and won’t likely make for much of a good loser should he get beat. Randie’d be so much better at a drawing game like pictionary. Too bad that you need teams of folks to play it.
Happy Mother’s Day.
Gloat while you can, Ryan!
Rye, way to rub it in. I like the board in the last cell! How gangster!
A certain knowitall friend is going to be force-fed those little letter-tiles pretty soon…
How many points can you get on ‘asphyxiation’?
stick… yes, you found my little silly in the “thrown letters” in the last panel.
Denny… gloat… 3-1-1-1-1… only 7 points there…. make sure you play it on a triple.
Jack…. tanks… Ryan won’t be laugh’n/gloating/smirking so much when he plays Win, Lose, or Draw, will he?
Dada… HA! Theres a lotta letters in “asphyxiation.” kudos for all the high-scoring letters though.
