Relaunch
Thank you to James Jaden Currie Abbott… for letting me borrow this little bit of dork humor. Having heard the phrase, it sounded like something “mouse-y”…
And I like how “being a dork” is no longer a negative thing… there was a day when dork was a put-down. And I love the phrase “dork-out.” Embrace the dork, y’all.
Midge, in robot shirt, calling Mouse a dork…takes one to know one.
And on his Mother’s side, Mouse is a metro.
Beepa-beepa-bloop, deedle-dadee-do-do-do, Atari, Amiga & Blue – DORK! DORK! DORK!
Todee wii makka da comfuutaa…
How can a guy with such nifty-keen glasses not see what’s right in front of him. Time for Midge to give him a dope slap followed by a big kiss.
Nerds and Dorks of the world, Unite!
We may not be cool, but the Earth we shall rule!
I would be doing the exact same thing. I am a stat and number cruncher. I love graphs and spreadsheets. Dorks unite!
Hee hee… Yah, Stick… Midge is major dork… but it’s kinda like if you are one… you can call’em out.
Nerd bird! Jack… you know about Nerdy types! You got one in Gulls, too! Calculating gulls rawk!
DCS…. I have surrounded myself with dorks. They know how to get things done.
Pete… we’ll just have to see about that. I keep mulling Midge around…
How sad, Bil Keane (Family Circus) died today at 89 years of age.
Whose strip will Stephan Pastis (Pearls before Swine) brutally make fun of now?
I would feel inclined to remind you of the literal meaning of the term “dork”…but why ruin everyone’s fun?
DANG IT, Dada! Gah!
RIP, Mr. Keane… but can’t say that we didn’t see it coming. No worries for Mr. Pastis… The Keane kids will keep it going.
I met Stephan Pastis at a recent book signing here in the Twin Cities. The book store had run out of his books and I had to resort to buying a childrens sketch book so that he could at least draw one of the characters in it(duck).
