randie should have invited mouse to stop by for dessert. presumably he will have dinner with his family beforehand. that way, randie, ryan, and spill get to taste the miraculous pie, and mouse gets an extra piece. everybody’s happy. then they could work together to convince martha to bake more often.
I still think she was rather silly about that, but I do love the line ‘We have the Pie Joy that was foretold.’
Down from the mount he came, his once dull eyes full of passion and fire. His followers fell silent as he approached, and produced a single scroll which he then unfurled and read aloud. “I have spoken to our lord Piedosus, and he has given to me these words. Beware Topus, the vile tempter, for he shall seek to sway you from your path. Hold strong, DENY him, for while he may offer riches beyond the dreams of avarice his power is weak before that of Piedous! Should you weather the temptations of greed, you too shall have the Pie Joy! It has been foretold!’
Since neither pumpkin nor sweet potatoes have any particular flavor of themselves, the pie is all about the seasonings used. The mission now would be to seek out and document those seasonings.
This might get messy. Randie should hire a team of mercenary garden gnomes for support.
I have blackberry pie. You don’t. I picked the berries. So there.
Squiddies All! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! I hope the pie joy was with you… It sounds as if it was.
I had a wonderful holiday… parade, food, family, more food, pie, wine, Miracle on 34th St… I hope that you all got in on some of that!
Pie-pocolypse! ha ha!
Joy to you all … and let the Christmassing begin!
Here you go! 3.14159… what? Wrong pie? Well, it’s wrong Thanksgiving for us Canadians anyway. 😛 Have a good one!

When shopping for pumpkin pie, make sure you don’t pick up a sweet potato pie. I’ve made that mistake once or twice. But not this year.
