Pass Over
It’s a bit surprising to me that I waited this long to give Randie a hot plate. Then again, cooking isn’t really Randie’s thing.
Passover is observed at my house, as is Easter. What’s cool is, Good Friday, Passover, & Easter are on consecutive days this year… It’s like a 3-day holiday weekend! Bring on the Horseradish, Haroset and Cadbury eggs!
Some of you may be asking… Is Ryan Jewish? His family lives in Florida… could it be so? To this I say no. But I’m pretty sure he has an aunt from Jersey.
First Jennie mentions Cadbury eggs, then you …
I am trying so soooo hard to resist the urge this year, really I am! No, I won’t plow through a pile of them in one sitting, I can’t! My doctor will have me committed if I do that to my blood sugar! I’m not diabetic yet, and I don’t wanna be!
Now all I can think of is Cadbury’s … but … I can have JUST one … right, I can stop at one?
Maybe if I have Pam hide the rest of them …
Egg-cellent comic! RAWK!
Jewish humor (Rye) meets Easter humor (Randie)…
both seem to merely amuse themselves.
We had our New Testament Seder dinner at church the previous week, on Palm Sunday. Sadly, too many people don’t understand the importance of the Pass Over for both the Judaic and Christian faiths. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend/celebrate a Seder dinner, I can highly recommend it, as a religious observance and/or a cultural event.
Pete… It’s wonderfully symbolic, isn’t it?
