Octopus Kinship
Octopi lesson: They can get as big as 100 lbs… but a 400 lb. octopus has been found! The giant pacific octopus eats crabs, squid, lobsters and even other octopi! Octopi, plurally, can be called octopi or octopusses. Ringo collaborated with George Harrison on Octopus’ Garden, but he is given sole credit for it’s composition.
Is Mr. Octopus actually pointing to something?
Hello, i just read you in two sittings! XP
I quite like Mr Octopus as a name. Like Dr Octopus, but he hasn’t passed the final exam yet. XD
Well, welcome to Squid Row… where the calamari is fresh and the ink isn’t quite dry! Mr. Octopus would work… in the interim!
I think he’s wavin’ g’bye… it’s like See Ya! The dinner table calls!
Love the premise and the art – keep ’em comin’. π
I see octopus here every day on the market and in the sea – I don’t like the taste though.
So I will start to talk to them like you do π
PS. Nicky510 sent me.
I’ve only had octopus in a sushi sampler plate…. I’m much more fond of squid to tell you the truth. The best squid I ever had was at a restaurant in Picadilly Circus… it was a Thai place we’d stopped at before seeing a play (Dickens Unplugged… a riot!).
Thanks fer visitin’ Squid Row! Thanks, Crow for the referral!
Nicky510 is happy to be of service! But really, the Nicky510 Nickyites know that I wouldn’t suggest anything that wasn’t top drawer – so it was a no brainer to come on by.
And as a btw, one the off chance that you don’t know about The Adventures of Bill – David Reddick’s the guy who does it and he’s also the poster 3 items above this one.
Best,
Crow
Thanks David… smiles!
Beautiful ending panel there. π
I like Marinated Octopus, like my old boss used to make. I’ve not had it in quite a while, nor found any right substitute…
I love seafood in general… I guess that’s why I dig the sushi… although raw octopus, not so much. I’d be willing to try the marinated. What is it marinated in?
