When I was a wee lass, I spent a lot of time living in a fantasy world when I should have been dealing with my problems… Good on Randie for visualizing the slaying of the evil ogre… and then goin’ in and doin’ something about it! Let her have it, Randie! (Mind you, I am not advocating violence, people!… …just standing up for those too weak to stand up for themselves).
Randie–Warrior Princess?
Randie the Barbarian?
Randie the Riveter?
Oh come on, he was clearly asking for it, he’s looking at her.
The fiend.
Have you, perchance, been reading The Challenges of Zona?
Joe: Yah… the latter more like. I did like the artwork of the Conan comic books back in the day.
Dave… clearly! Some people just can’t resist instigating a fight.
James… Oh my! To answer: no (this is my first time seeing it). But I do like Zona’s outfit better… However, if she has any business running about … that top isn’t goin’ to hold her in. Wonder Woman has the same problem. But you saw how Linda Carter ran… like a girl.
This is why antagonists are so important. Without them, we rarely discover our true substance and potential. Grace is, of course, a coward, which is why she bullies and otherwise avoids real human interaction. Unless she stops giving her strength to bitterness and fear, she will never break free. On the other hand, Randie stared down the Mighty Twinkie over canned sardines and triumphed. After that, she had her jam-eating slump, which may have induced her to reconsider some life patterns. Perhaps now she’s on the verge of a real breakthrough, wherein life ceases to be all about Self and starts looking outward. Her art, as well as her heart, can only benefit.
You can’t have the light without the dark.
EofO: You’ve done a fair amount of examination here…. Randie’s life has many areas that need “goin’ over” and that’s life… opportunities to grow. She may always have trouble with self-control… certainly where jelly & Nutella are concerned… but somethings take a lifetime to work out.
Smiles.
Well, that’s probably the SECOND scariest version of Grace I’ve seen…
Brig: Ohhhh Nutella…
Dada… she’s pretty horrible, ain’t she… HEY! I’ve got someone your pal, Scap might be interested in!
Astragali… I KNOW… right!? … now I want Nutella crepes. Dang IT!
Did someone mention Cracktella?
Nutella is one of those things that will never go out of style! I remember when my brother brought some home from Germany. I was thirteen and had never tasted anything so good in my life!! I ate about half the jar!
