Mouse Resolution
Getting up the courage to tell someone you dig them is no easy task. For Mouse, it’s even more difficult. Having your feelings trampled on is an awful thing. Somewhere, way back, I think somebody broke little Mouse’s heart.

Confidence is the delusion that everything will work out for you.
Courage is what you have when you believe everything will go wrong for you – and you try anyway.
— Mark “Astragali” Cooper
It’s a shame that the world runs more on confidence than courage, because I’d rather be known for the latter – and you can fake the former (I do it on a daily basis at work).
Awww, must be especially hard for Mouse since Randie is looking especially nice today. (:
I really like that Astragali. It flies in the face of my goal to be more positive and continue blindly building my confidence as it is probably my greatest weakness, but none the less I really like it. I figure I deserve to be delusional in this beneficial way just as much as anybody.
I, too, like this, Astragali. But is confidence delusional? It’s definitely worth discussion. Confidence, I think, is a mindset. It’s the thinking: “I AM capable of…” So it’s a belief of “can do”… yes? is that delusional? Perhaps confidence and courage are linked. Perhaps confidence is what you wind up with after you’ve had courage to try and/or do things.
Megan… Randie thanks you.
Did someone say, “Courage”?
Oh yah! Who doesn’t love The Wizard…? Classic, timeless… and at this point, “cowardly”… just like a certain Mouse we know. Which harkens a moral fable about a mouse and a lion… sorta. WHAT AM I talkin’ about?
Brig: Is it not written, “fake it ’til you make it”?
