Money Spent

Yikes! With that “menu” of item, and the fact she’s now driving the Vespid instead of her 10-speed, Randie may have the same problem of a few years back begin to show up on her front.
One of the toughest lessons every adult needs to learn is “Part of everything you earn is yours to keep.” (“The Richest Man in Babylon”, George S. Clason)
Sounds like Randie really needs to sit down with a ledger and find out where all her money is going so that she can take control and end the hand-to-mouth existence of the starving artist.
There needs to be some organization in Randie’s budget, for sure! When you can actually SEE what it is your money is buying, then you can determine what is necessary spending and what isn’t… Pop’n Tarts… questionable.
Pete… a gas pump shoulda been in there somewheres!
Yyyyyyyyyup. Sounds like exactly what happens every time I get paid: new supplies or yummy desserts start calling for you!
I so relate. Often times I’ll look in my wallet and have to stop and think of what happened to a twenty that had been there the day before. Love the pictoral memory flashes. I too am a visual person, used to remember phone numbers by recalling keystrokes on a mental number pad. Randie ought to get herself a rescue atm card…well, if there’s something in her account…or land better tipping coffee delivery clients.
Ah yes, the old “too much month at the end of the money”: a common ailment amongst creative types. I hear there’s an app for that. In Randie’s case, there’s Big Lots and its excellent selection of Bics and small, wirebound notebooks. Write it down, Chickadee. Maybe your good buddy there can assist you on the road to recovery.
Dada… I am a pen freak… and so art supply stores are places I don’t go unless I have to… because I will drop crazy money on more pens… the 3 and 4 dollar kinds. Sigh.
Stick… yah, Randie could use a few more tips… she has to keep the coffees in the cup (and on the scooter) to get the tip, though.
EofO… He’s tried helping her before… with her bills… (in b/w Squid days)… that was a disaster…. but he’s a helpful pal… and patient.
Brig: I don’t mean financial help, per se…but organizational intervention.
No, no… he tried to help her organize her bills and analyze her financial situation. I find the link and/or post the toon! Smiles.
Rawk on Randie! 2 boxes of Pop n’ Tarts!
