We’ve always enjoyed the holidays, and when I was a kid, it seemed all our relatives got along great. And though they’re all gone now except one, it still seems to have been that way. And now that we have kids of our own, the holidays continue to be wonderful. *sigh* I’ve a nice family.
Easter dinner is HAM. Ham, ham, ham, ham, HAM!! Yeah, I’m a hamoholic, but I’m in complete control… of all the HAM!
Foghome… ah… the sisters are raising some questions… and today’s blog post will answer questions. As far as Ryan and Randie… they are late 20’s/early thirties… in there somewheres. Old enough to be done with college but not experienced enough in life to have all the answers.
Pete… Yes… ham has always been traditional at my house also… I have always been fond… but now prefer the low salt stuff. MMMmmmm…. And I am glad you have a nice family. It is a blessing, indeed!
Dada… I’m with you on this… I would prefer Cad eggs over Peeps anyway… and thems is fighting words to Judy.
Pasha… How ’bout it!? Cad egg high… with a bottle of Wild Turkey… it’s just sad.
Yat… It’s Mac tonight! What kind of cheese do you use?
Brig: My recipe calls for sharp cheddar, mild cheddar and Velveeta, but I’m flexible. If I’m out of one cheese, I’ll double up on one of the others or just use all one cheese. Elbow mac is the best. I’ve tried shells, but they don’t hold the sauce as well and it comes out all runny. 😛
Do all four sisters live together? Also what are Mouse & Randi’s ages?
Thanks.

What?! No Cadbury Eggs?!
Somehow Dada I have no trouble envisioning Scap dining on nothing but booze and Cadbury Eggs for Easter.
I’ll bring the homemade macaroni & cheese!

That’s actually more or less how my family works. And Easter is our excuse to stock up on lamb, since it’s so hard to find at other times of the year.
Yat… I so love cheese… mmm… cheddar. I like me the goat and sheep cheeses… but they probably wouldn’t work so good in mac/cheese.
chug… lamb… mmmm…. I like me some lamb.
