Mission Accomplished
The old days of The Artbox are long gone! Dropped special orders, empty shelves, and Grace’s growls didn’t help the old art supply store’s business… no matter.

I was finaly able to get caught up on Squid Row, after a few weeks of crazy work hours and life geting busy. The good thing is I get to binge read! Looking forward to the new book, keep up the great work Brig!
Awwwwwwwwwwww, everyone, group hug!
Eprinc… Glad you are up to speed… I have noticed of late, that life HAS been just a bit more accelerated! Thanks… I am glad you are looking forward to Down But NOT Out…
Dada… BIG group hug…
Wow, it must be nice to have a family where everything doesn’t degenerate into knife fights or drinking! You can actually ACCOMPLISH things?! Astonishing!
A little saccharine for my tastes as usual, but it does look like one of those rare good moments in life that makes it all worthwhile.
Family-Owned-and-Run Business cam be OK UNTIL it’s decided SOMEBODY (else) needs to Fired!
I was at a place where the whole Cleaning Crew was fired with 5-minutes notice so that a “Contract Cleaning Company” (Associated with one of the Son-in-Laws) could take over. We got squat, exept for the couple they “Cherry-Picked” to use for a while, and fired later.
I agree with some of your commenters that some Family-run businesses can be exceptionally brutal to their employees, both family and non-family; still the sentiment of your last frame is golden: Family + respect + kindness does = success of the most enjoyable sort. Sweeet!
Lady Jenn… There are families out there whose family quarrels are resolved over pie. This would be one of them. See final panel to see HOW this is possible.
Leo… That is sad. I would say that they didn’t pay any attention to the last panel. Kindness & respect… So important.
Bscruffy …. Smiles…. I like it when families come together.
I’m beginning to wonder if Squid Row is perhaps on the other side of Alice’s Mirror from me…… It certainly seems alien enough and yet I feel that if I went there, like Alice, I could interact with people without seeming entirely strange!
