Of course oblivious Randie did not know of Max’s move, it’s enough of a wonder that she realizes that Spill is sitting next to her carrying on a conversation. Now where did she put her coffee cup?
Squid… There’s a great windshield de-icing trick for you in yesterday’s comments.
jude… she most certainly will not miss Max. At least now she won’t have to bother ducking or thinking about whether or not Max is on the other side of the door.
Pete… I think Randie wants out of the building entirely. Now that she’s all alone again in the building… with whomever or whatever is in apt. 3… she may wanna scram lickity split!
stick… Randie can be oblivious… she puts up with a lot… just look at her frigid, lack of amenities apartment!
I saw these neat USB finger-less hand warming gloves online. Wish I could remember where I saw them, I would include the link. They were kind of like electric blankets for your hands so if you had problems with cold hands at the keyboard or tablet you just slip these on plug them into to your system and away you go. I think I will go look for them, think the link might be on my facebook account…
Pash… Wow… what will they think of next!?
It’s funny… usually my laptop gets pretty warm on my desk. Ordinarily, I have a fan underneath it that keeps it cool. This week, I haven’t had to use it as my office has provided the cooling mechanism.
I am not ashamed to admit that I have warmed my hands on my laptop. It will get into a cartoon at one point.
Yat: AH! Toasty hands! Brilliant! and funny, too!
Dada… hee hee…. the irony is… Jimmy Chow’s inspiration actually lives in SF as well! Ha!
Hey, thanks for the de icing tip! I’ll have to try it. Its been so cold here lately, that I havent even tried to get any work done in my basement/garage lately. I’ve been making c.d.’s for people in my nice warm living room instead. 🙂
I’d say Randie was (happily) very successful at keeping Max out of her life…. will she miss him when he’s gone? (Not!)
In fact, I’ll bet Randie will come to appreciate Max, now that his apartment may be available. (But also affordable? Hmmmm….)

Looks like the original link to the hand warming gloves got removed, but I found them again by doing a Google search. So here’s the link for anyone interested.

ThinkGeek has something called USB Toast Handwarmers
I can think of more than a few snotty artists in San Francisco he could fit right in with…
