Market Toss
If you’ve ever been to Seattle’s Pike Place Market, you know about the fish tossing. I like Seattle, probably mostly because of its plethora of bean juice shops.

Never been to Seattle’s Pike Place, but do like Starbuck’s Pike Place roast.
I’m one of those guys who’ll go into a ‘buck’s and ask for a “medium black coffee.”
Wow, love the fish tossing, not so hot about “moldskin” and don’t know what to make of bean juice. erk.
Been there, dodged that! This brought a smile to my face remembering avoiding ‘flying fish’ many years ago… thx!
Stick… It’s a nifty place. It’s a bit of a strange combo… fish and coffee… (the coffee is across from the market… and it’s the ORIGINAL Scarbucks… the one that started it all). Seattle is nice to visit… but their traffic is horrid and the weather…. gloomy.
DragonK…. Heee hee…. glad I could be of assistance!
Aaaah…was just there and had a wonderful time at the Marketplace!! Not to mention visiting the nirvana of all sights….Original Starbucks.. *insert Homer Simpson drool here**!!!
Lew Zealand says, “I throw the fish awaaaaaay, and THEY come back to ME!”
If you don’t remember that now, maybe you will when the new Muppet movie comes out.
Ewwwwwww…”moldskin”…ewwwwwww. Go away, mental image.
I love how Lew Zealand calls Kermit “Mr. The Frog” We lost a genius when we lost Jim Henson, yes we did. Can’t wait for the new movie! I (heart) Der Sweedish
I love these strips about working in the art supply shop. I’ve done a lot of that work myself so I can relate.
Hee hee… Moldskin… does sound appetizing.
Denny… glad you dig the Randie-at-work-toons. I did my fair share of art store employment as well. But my experience was much more pleasing than Randie’s.
Dada/Jude… buh-buh-buh-buddah-duh… it’s time to put on make-up… it’s time to…
Audra… I hope you didn’t overdo it on the beans!
Yeah–the BeanTown of the west coast–so to speak! Can’t Stand The Smell of Coffee! So where do I live, not near Seattle, at least! we live in a little town with just two bean huts, thank goodness, but the hubs is a coffee fiend, as are the kids, so it’s rough on me. I’ve done resets like that when working at several big chain stores, and some customer always wants whats on the bottom and the manager always wants you to come up and work check outs. Just major frustration, and they usually weren’t as nice as Randi’s customer.
