Lullabies
No, “One o’clock Jump” is NOT a lullaby… far from it. No sleep for Randie tonight! Maybe they could play some Vince Guaraldi for Randie…. um, not with a horn, though.

I’m feeling a bit Randie-ish right now and I just got up. That’s not so good…
I like the trumpet. I think the key to success for most bands is having a good trumpet player.
Is it National Sleepiness Day? I went to bed for a nap(key word there) after dinner around 7 and woke up around 7:40am. What’s up with that?
Hi hi!
Hmmm… it’s not a flugelhorn, but maybe he could play Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good” over and over. Not only would Randie get some sleep, if played more than five times in a row, it’s a scientific fact that “Feels So Good” induces comas.
Oh… your site wasn’t loading for me over the past couple hours, so I went over to the Herald’s online site to see if Squid Row was there. NO! *sad* Even though your comic has its own site, they should still post it on their comics page, it would seem.
Yah, I actually wanted to stay in bed this morning… perhaps it is the rain pounding the window… lulling me to stay in bed. I will go with Nat’l Sleepy Day, Meghan. If it ain’t a holiday, it oughta be. Crow is celebrating right now!
Yah, the site was down- not sure why… but it’s fixed. And I have had lots of folks pointing out the not on the Herald’s website… enough to bring it up the next time I talk with my editor. Thank you for noticing.
Trumpets don’t do good lulling… but I think some Pacific Coast Cool Jazz would do alright!
Chuck makes me happy.
Trumpets are okay. Maybe if you used a mute. I like Chuck, too. As a player and as an actor. He was hilarious on King of the Hill.
For myself, I play saxophone. Baritone sax is my favorite. If I go low enough, you stop hearing the note and start FEELING it.
Of course late to the party. But it’s still funny now as it was earlier. HA!
