Laundromat
I think it’d been fun to give Randie days-of-the-week undies… but you wouldn’t be able to make them out as the writing’d be so small. Just picture it in your head, peoples.

Randy Forrest Springlemeyer Gump
So Randie’s a mid-rise cut kinda girl. And a wearer of the cheap and very usable “6-Pack O’ Socks”. Nice and sensible without going all the way to grannies.
Best Laundromat Scene: “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”.
I have a horrible tendency to lose socks, to the point that I was down to about three pairs (two if you don’t count the ones that were more hole than sock). They turned out to be in, of all places, my sock drawer. I didn’t think to look there because I assumed I wouldn’t have been organised enough to actually put them away.
stick-figurer,
Now that Brig has IDed her image at the beach party, I’m left wondering who you are IDing as Randie [implied question]? I don’t think Brig is standing on a cooler, she just looks tall because the guy in front of her is sitting (she’s kneeling).
Ah, Beetles…
The beach scene; I was satisfied in having been proved right and just let it go, but, OK, let us go back and revisit it again…(sighs, opens new window, pulls up last Sunday’s squid comic)…
Randie is the one in the picture with the yellow (blonde) hair between the bald guy in the blue tank top and the girl with the glasses and princess leia hair in the green 3/4 shirt. Brig is, once again, the one on Randie’s right, although those lips are way too huge. The cooler comment was a bit of a height joke. Brig, while not of munchkin, nor oompa-loompa stature is something she likes to call, “fun sized,” which most folk would simply consider as “not tall.”
I hope all is clear now, and, oh, look, there’s a laundromat comic today.
Sensible indeed, Pete. I used to get them socks at the flea market in Santa Cruz (when there was one… at the drive-in)… you could get them pretty cheap.
Stick: “Fun-size” is my nickname in certain circles… My Aunt Bernie used to call me “Bridgett the midget” back in my youth.” She jinxed me, fer certain! Either that, or shortness just runs on my mom’s side of the family. Bernie’s hardly towering over me!
If anyone calls me an oompa-loompa, I’m deckin’em!
Lastly, If Forrest looked on the inside of the chocolate box lid, he’d find the “map.”
Awww…cuteness.
Laundromat…Twinkie…nahhhhhh, never mind.
Spin twinkie spin ( just kidding!! ) I like cats
Fun-size?

brig… If Randie lifted the chocolat…, er, washer lid, she’d stop the spin.
Yeah, I know, not the comic’s intent.
Hmm, R many have just found inspiration for her next painting, “underwear dance.”
Empress… Nice to see you’ve returned.
Go back through the past couple days of messages…you missed remembrancing my birthdāt (spelling is intentional).
squidman… yuck, cat hair covered undies.
Stick: I am blissfully guilt free. Did you have a good one?
I have very little experience with laundromats (I have my own washer and dryer), so to compensate, here are the Detergents with their classic 1965 parody of “Leader Of the Pack”:

(Lead singer Ron Dante would later sing on the Archies’ records.)
Empress…
Since you asked, it rained (poured) and was 68 degrees…
Actually, that’s not bad considering that on this upcoming July 4th will be 104 degrees…
Overall, it was alright. Sadly, hoped for plans did not materialize. So how was your day?
uwg… yawn.
OK, here’s Rush in Rio, notice the on-stage laundromat…well row of running dryers at least…
Undies doin’ a ‘Tango’ = hilarity!
Brig: Those machines in panel one look downright spooky…
Landromats on stage… You’d think the sound of tumbling clothes might be a…. distraction…
Uwg… If the gal in the song is “the leader of the laundromat” … wouldn’t there be gangs of laundry people? Snapping fingers and then folding a shirt.
uwg,
I’d never heard, or even heard of, that parody. From your closing comment you seem knowledgeable about the group – I’m wondering if the Jackson Pollock reference was deliberate.
