Late
Whenever I am running late, I inevitably forget something important… like grabbing my lunch on the way out the door or putting on shoes or something. I hate that.

As far as transport lateness is concerned, I learned via the BBC’s Top Gear that in Japan, if the train makes you late for work, you’re given a special ticket to give to your boss, so they don’t tell you off for something which isn’t your fault. Why can’t the UK and USA adopt that? 😛
Uh… Grace? Isn’t this the pot calling the kettle black?
Yeeeeeah, the universe always knows when you’re running late. That’s when it starts screwing with you.
Pete… exactly! She’s a punk, that Grace! Mind you, when she’s late, she’s not so quick to point it out.
Astragali… Top Gear… that is usually on at our house. I find it amusing at times, LOUD most times… and annoying at others. Jeremy is soooo mean!
Anyhoo… Yah, the Japanese get it right, non?
Dada… That’s when you step back and say: I am going to breathe and let it all go… I’ll get there whether I am anxious or not…. so not.
Oddly enough, I had a similar situation today. Had to miss period one of school because of a small situation, but I had to make it in for period two because I volunteered to be in my friend’s film project. I got out of theh osue at the very last minute, why do you always get the lead-footed cab driver when you’re nauseous and you just want to go home, but never when you really need him? I feel your pain Randie!
I really like what you’ve been doing with shading Brig. It’s very subtle but it makes it twice as awesome!
Meg: I’ve had SCARY cab drivers in both Paris and San Fran. In both cases, I just tried to busy myself thinking about stuff not related to watching the road.
Thanks for the kudos on shading. I am using the “burn tool” in photoshop more. It’s a fast way of putting in some shading and I, too, like the results.
