I used to work under a woman who went by the nickname ‘Sparks’. Never did find out her name to this day, but I have a tendency to call anyone above me ‘Chief’ (I find it rolls off the tongue a little bit easier than ‘boss’ or the like with my north canadian drawl). These days I hear that at work she now calls herself ‘Chief Sparks’….. and these days she owns her business, so now people ask if she has a name other than ‘Chief’ and she gets to say ‘Yeah. Sparks.’
RN… It seems that Mouse’s position in the family business has slipped a little.
Trev… I like “Chief” as a title… it seems that Sparks did, as well. Isn’t it funny how life works out sometimes? By the way, I just got back from a lovely trip to Quebec. I’m in love.
Quebec’s pretty nice I’m told. Any specific area? I’ve never had the opportunity despite it being driving distance to the provincial border. Although I did get over to the Quebec side of Ottawa a lot, but it was just more Ottawa with faster talking people that swear more!
You had better check with Mom about that “Boss” thing, Mouse.

One day I’ll figure out her real name, I’m sure.
