If you are a new reader, you may need a footnote here…. Randie is afraid of gnomes… she doesn’t like them, they creep her out. Last year for her birthday, she was given this gnome by her pal, Spill (multi-media artist who makes stuff out of cement and such… she started making gnomes, completely unaware of Randie’s fears)… The gnome, Randie is convinced, is evil and no matter how hard she tries… the dang thing won’t go away.
Yeah, getting rid of twinkie would be a good thing. The gnome however,
could just be accidentally-on purpose be left behind. That would remove all the evil from Randie’s apartment.
What, Randie doesn’t own a hammer? She can borrow one from Ryan. Plus, smashing a garden gnome ought to give her much satisfaction.
she could get some yarn and make a gnome cozy, perhaps with a nice floral pattern or the like. that way she wouldn’t have to look at it and she wouldn’t hurt spill’s feelings.
Yes, anarman, but she would still be threatened by the evil gnome plotting against her in her own apratment. You can’t trust them, you know. Better if Randie “forgot” the gnome when she moved, or perhaps “accidentally” dropped it from the seveth floor, if Spill asks about it.
Spill might give her another one this Christmas so Randie can have a nice, matched set. Randie can set one on each side of her doorway, threatening her each time she goes in and out.
Ah… you fellas underestimate the gnomes. Why just recently, I went out to the garage to get my bike, and found it had a flat tire. Oh yes, I am sure it was one of the gnomes in the yard. They have sharp objects…
Randie would never purposely hurt Spill’s feelings… but she HAS tried to leave it out where it could “go elsewhere”… but it seems to magically reappear in her apartment… it’s not as easy as you might thing… relocating a gnome.
