It may be a point of view, the dealing with necessary, required and oft laborious interruptions. They maybe common everyday tasks that everyone has to put up with so that they can then partake in their hobbies. Or they can be opportunities for creative artistic expressions. Those other things can be an annoyance or a continuance.

Dada… yes, she is working on her intriguing auto-biography. Nobody wants to read a book on how easy your life was and how you got into the school you wanted, met the right people and got the job you wanted right off and acquired a fulfilling meaningful life… and lived happily ever after. BOOORRRING
and lived happily ever after. BOOORRRING
Have you been looking over my shoulder? I’ve been trying to write my memoirs; it’s been a fun trip, but everything has gone right! Maybe I can make up some conflict for contrast.
