Don’t underestimate the power of a stuffed teddy bear… as the owner of many stuffed pals (including a one-eyed stuffed “thing”), they bring a lot of happy.

I got it! Report him to the Department of Homeland Security! He may be sent to Guantanamo, Cuba, but…
…Nevermind.
Hmm. We have the end of the month in 9 days’ time (Sunday strips are usually non-canon) – thank goodness February is a short month!
Astra,
Sorry, bud. Rye said, “… at the end of next month.” He’s likely gonna be saying his goodbyes for all of your 9 February days and then all of another 31 March days after that. Oh, joy.
By then will have seen Randie go through all five grief stages (shock/denial, anger, bargaining, depression, recovery)…..in time for April 1st to roll around and Emily pop in to gleefully say, “April Fool.”
For myself, my bear of choice is Poohbear. And though I appreciate the style of Pooh in the classic Milne, I grew up with the Disney Pooh, and he remains my favorite. Mine is a 24″, entirely huggable one that will always Cause Comfort On A Blustery Day or otherwise provide support In Which One’s Bravery Is Bolstered By The Presence Of A Good Friend.
There’s that pesky “cartoon time” issue… I, for the sake of knowing, will adhere to “real time” on the matter. That gives Ryan and Randie lots of time to sort things out… and Randie can go through all those stages of grief (reminds me of “All That Jazz”)…
Aw, Pete… You know your Pooh! Hee hee. Hugga Bear (and be brave)!
Speaking of bears… I have a friend who reconditions gently loved bears and distributes them to
those in traumatic situations. It’s one of those instances where the power of the teddy bear is manifested in a good cause.
Joe… you read the news, don’t you?!
Slug him anyway.
Stick, thanks for the correction! (I blame reading the comic in the wee small hours, while tired).
I’m not sure I could handle the whole of March with Randie being all whiny and selfish! (I hope she isn’t…)
Astra,
No problemo. As you can see by the time stamp, I checked in kinda late also. Plus I see that I had a typo and a few missing words in my respective offering. Yes, I too hope we don’t go through various phases of Randie unhappiness. These comic strip things are normally called, “funnies” afterall.
