Gone
I imagine it would have been interesting for the animal shelter person on the line with Grace, there.
Do you have a favorite break up song? List it in the comments.

Oh I have a few that I like but here are my favorites: Adele – Someone like you and No Doubt – Don’t speak. In this scenario I think Rat is the one that will be listening to break up songs. Grace will probably like :

On another note, it’s official, Grace has a heart and I expect she’ll be asking other squiddies for help finding Twinkie in the near future.
Twinkie a.k.a. Cat
Bluer Than Blue – Michael Johnson, and I Go Crazy – Paul Davis
Ep… I LOVE “Friends” !!! Ever notice how there are lots of friends in Squid Row… yah. And Smelly Cat… is that really a break up song? Doesn’t matter… it’s an awesome song.
Jack… Cat/Twinkie/devil cat/the evil one…
Rich… somehow, I had an idea that yours would be a 70’s kind of vibe.
A fave break-up song? HmmmI have to admit that any song that reminded me of a previous relationship was never quite a favorite, but I always thought Expose’s “I’ll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me)” was a nice tune addressing that type of situation. Then there’s the ever-popular Wilson Phillips “Hold On” as well. Being an unrepentant Debbie Gibson fan, I also like “Foolish Beat” and “No More Rhyme”.
I will whole-heartedly agree that I’m sure NONE of the above mentioned artists are anywhere near Grace’s cd collection (but then again, Mouse DID state that her honorable-mention-winning poster entry was pink with unicorns in it…Hmmmmm).
First listen to “Nothing Compares 2 U” then go on to “I Will Survive” while eating massive amounts of ice cream and chocolate before going into a sugar buzz while watching old classic movies on TV.
I can’t listen to, or even read a reference to “I Will survive” without thinking of this version:
I’m astounded nobody’s mentioned ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’ yet
Here’s a quarter, Call someone who cares.
Pearl Jam’s “Black” is a fine breakup song.
Wow… such a diverse set of song-age!
Jon… Grace’s Punk/heavy guitar-sadistic metal break up song…? Maybe something in the area of “My boots will stomp you out!”
Rich: And now I won’t be able to think of Gloria Gaynor without thinking of the Alien… I like the ending to that.
Chug: by U2?
Lee… sounds country.
Fun Mike… um… you’ve been there, I guess.
uwg… probably very angst-y. yes?
