Sure! It was 10th grade. The class was reading the CC. I was Tiny Tim. We were through it and all the emotion was building to a crescendo. And as we approached Tiny Tim’s immortal line, I was rummaging in my backpack for something. Suddenly I realized that were were almost at my line – the big finish (I’d read the story before so I knew what was coming). Quickly stopping what I was doing I straightened up and blurted out
GODBLESSUSEVERYONE!
Took me about 2 seconds.
It wasn’t quiiite in keeping with the heartwarming mood. The class was not happy….

… I must say that at first I thought perhaps your story had something to do with “God in Schools” or something…
Well, we were all sitting at our desks so no limping was possible. I was crushed that I broke their mood and remained psychically scarred for years and years. Or was it milliseconds and milliseconds? One or the other.
Hey, I saved my acting for stage. THERE I acted with feeling all the time!
