Love your entire webcomic so much!
Hey! Not true! I had the best kick bottom curry in my life in England and… hu.. it doesn’t count, does it?
I love your webcomics. It ring so true for another artist ^^
Yah…. it don’t count… but…. Some of my favorite places to eat are English Pubs… in Monterey… for some strange reason, Monterey is LOADED with English pubs! The Mucky Duck, Crown & Anchor, London Bridge, Britannia Arms, and Bullwhackers… the list goes on!
Thank you! I am glad that you are enjoying Randie’s silliness and my odd muses.
Randie should have directed them to a Happy Burger. That’s yummy in any language!
Happy Burger, indeed! If you are referring to the yellow arch place… there can be none found on The Row…. (thankfully!)… the irony being that they are actually putting one in the Louvre… no kid! (I wish I was!)
Well done :)! You summed up everything I learned from five years of French class.
Brig – No yellow arches! I’m referring to THIS place:

Of course you are! I’d not seen that toon yet! Thanks for the link…I am now in the know!
And do you know your gauche from your droite?
Yep, I do. And my rechts from my links. But not much else …
” … Et ils ne font pas non plus beaucoup d’effort pour apprendre l’anglais ! ”
And they don’t make much effort into learning English !
(As a Frenchman myself, I know something !)
Oops, I touched a nerve.
Let me just say that I have visited both London and Paris (and Lille very briefly)…. and I found the people in both cities to be both friendly and engaging.
My friend Judy and I have been studying French for a few years, although Judy’s French is way better (she is further along). But we did try to speak French while we were in Paris… and I think that it was well-received. Even though… Je parle la francais tres mal! (There’s a reason Randie has trouble with learning French).
Ach man. French is easier to read and speak than to construct in one’s own brain, ah do declare.
Oh, you ain’t kidding! Often times when my instructor calls on me in class, I fumble and stall for time… you know… repeat the question in anglais… throw in some “eurrrr” and stuff like that.
