Hey, Brig!
Could you give us a hint as to whether we’ll have closure with Carol? If Grace is gone for good (and I hope she’s not!), we have closure because her motives and attitudes were always right up front. But Carol has always been elusive, both as a character in the strip and as a personality. Her motives are more difficult to pin down. Also, she simply faded away, and you’d like to know, if possible, what became of her.
With people like Carol, knowing that they are gone is usually closure enough. It’s people like Grace you don’t sleep well until they’ve found the body. ::snicker::
BTW, notice my name is a link now? I finally set up my profile and started uploading images, instead of just having a login to wander through other people’s galleries. š
Pete… I have a number of characters just floating around, don’t I? B.B. and Leroy, Max-the painter, Carol, Grace, Tim… and like real life, they come and go and sometimes we don’t know where they are and whether or not they will drift back or not. I like that. BUT I understand the need for closure. I will say that we’ve not heard the last of one of the two characters (I know this because I’ve got some storyline to break soon).
Grey… ahem… the body… sounds like an episode of CSI:Cypress City. Stay tooned.
(I dig the mug on your Deviant Art Link there! We got a face for the name now! yay!)… now we can drop in on you and see your drawing progress.
Aha, so that’s why my pageviews went up by 2 already – who’d you bring with you? š
And thanks – tho I will admit that, like Dear Abby, I like to stick to an old pic that looks better than any of my current ones. That one was taken about 9 years ago, using the webcam I had just bought my wife at the time.
Hair’s gotten a tad thinner and a LOT greyer, but is still that long. I just usually have it tied into a ponytail.
I’ve got to say that I love the background in today’s installment. Sometimes a little extra in the art department can prevent a comic from being a “talking heads” strip and make it into something beautiful.
I don’t want to see that selfish, no good Carol ever again, unless she’s the defendant in a courtroom, and I don’t give a flying fig about her motives. I’d like to see Grace again, though. She was starting to grow as a character a little; and she grew on me, too.
Dada… Thank you. It does set the scene… just a few lines and a bit o’ color.
Grey… 10 year old pic, eh? … I don’t think my 10 years ago self looks like me much. I had short spikey hair and my wardrobe was rather dull. Still, nice photo.

So EofO… tell us how you REALLY feel about Carol…

Brig, I must admit… I honestly don’t know what to say other than thank you!
Pashakitty… you are very welcome. I hold good thoughts for your farm!

Heh, like a fungus. š
