Flyer Time
Randie and I, as I’ve shared in the past, have a procrastination problem. And this toon certainly came out of an AIL (art imitating life) situation. Always having that “wait to the last minute” panic seems to get the job done… thus the quote, “if it wasn’t for the last minute, things wouldn’t get done.”
Ha, love this comic. Great layout and variety of outfit colors and homespace props. Wait, what’s this? Randie and brig suffer from problematic procrastination? Ha, I like the comment quote too, very procrastinator oriented. Seems everyone is predisposed to certain activities. Good fitting ones are done right away, poor fitting ones are put off for later. Only thing is, Randie is attracted to fun play things which don’t seem to include the making of flyers for friends.
brig… Saw your questions and answered them in yesterday’s comments.
Ice Cream trumps anything!
This sounds like a job for S.O.D. – “Anti-Procrastination Song”:
I only seem to have two modes; plenty of time and too late. Now I’ve put off growing up and being responsible my whole life, but I have LIVED my life, and it would take another lifetime just to write the book about it. At the end of her days, Randie will have the fondest memories of things she did while procrastinating!
Me and my homework….
Ugh… does THAT strike a chord. I’m just over two weeks past a deadline for an anthology contribution for a book that’ll be out later this year. In fact, I should be finishing the final thousand words NOW, and not having fun on Squid Row!
I’ll get it in a few minutes…
stick… yah… Randie and I gravitate towards things that are fun. THis is true. But it isn’t to say that doing the flyer isn’t a fun job, say compared to cleaning the toilet at the ARtBox… but there’s a timeline attached… and this screws things up.
Jack… WORD! (in my case, fro-yo).
UwG…. ha! Shortest song ever… guess they couldn’t get around to finishing it… probably put it off.
Kona… I like that… too much or not enough… or rather… Oops. But I highly recommend the Peter Pan thing.
chug… I used to do the same thing… especially where math was concerned. The best thing to do would have been to get the Math outta the way FIRST… but usually I put it off and gave it the least of my brain power… usually at 9:45 at night right before the eyelids close.
Pete…. Whooops. but… I like havin’ ya around!
