As in our previous Gnome tale, Randie wants to tell the masses that there is a threat. And like many a horror film, nobody believes her. She really does feel there is cause for alarm… and Ryan is bemused. He’s got some great material in Randie.
I tried to post on the last page but something went wrong so I will post it here and hope that it works. Randie should watch the David the Gnome series. It’s a pretty good animated series and it might just change her viewpoint about murderous gnomes.
Maybe Randie and a hundred or so of Spill’s gnomes should be put into a locked room with creepy music playing and the lights flashing every now and then.
That way, Randie will either overcome her fear of gnomes or she’ll crack and become the Gnome Queen, out to seek domination of the planet! *BWA-HA-HA!!*
*ahem* It’s a win/win either way.
No Tomte, me,
But Redcap be….
There’s an awesome (when I say “awesome”, I mean it’s so bad it’s good) x-mas horror movie called Silent Night Deadly Night.
An ad like the would get more attention and visitors than one that’s more mundane.
PashMeow… sorry about posting trouble. (I’m having trouble with that, too!)
Pete… NO! THat’s not a good way to get rid of your fear! Aaaa! It would reinforce mine! Being locked in a room of spiders would probably kill me with fright! That scene in Harry Potter with the cave full of spiders who want to eat Harry and Ron… terrifying!
Grump… you’re not from around here, are you?
Jack… I’m sure Randie has seen it. Me… nope… no horror films for Bridgett. Nightmares… blecht!
Chug…. good point. Sometimes you get more with the curiosity and suspense than you would otherwise. Mundane is boring!
Posting trouble? Did I break yesterday’s thread? *puppydog eyes*
GAH! Thread-breakers!
Narr lass, ’twere I from away Powry my choosin’ o’er Redcap….
Tomte and and Powry (Redcaps) both wear red caps, but Redcaps use blood to dye the cloth. Fond of halberds and the dropping of rocks from the tops of peel towers… not good neighbors.
Could sometimes be turned to stone (plaster?) by the touch of a saint’s relic. Other times they vanished, leaving a single tooth behind.
