Flair
This toon was inspired by a piece of fabric laying around the house. It’s so lively and perky… and full of energy… like a friday.

Oh Lord. A new comic is up. Meaning I’ve stayed up past my bedtime. Again. Nice work, Brig! Goin to sleep now…
I don’t think I’ve been so glad to see one for a while. Thank goodness it’s Friday!
Terrific comic, Brig! And delivered on the one day of the week when it will deliver the greatest impact! I’m tired of the “It’s Monday, woe is me!” theme you see in other comics. Here, Coffee and Friday rule supreme.
When you’re struggling to make it economically in life, like Randie is, the one advantage you have over your more financially secure friends is the true appreciation the in life, the Little Things In Life are truly the Important Things.
Is it me, or does Rye-Bread seem like a bit of a grouch today?
And in panel 1, I think Randie’s in a purple patch 😉
Thanks. There is a definite joy in the end of the week. I will be working this weekend for sure… but at least I can spread a bit of fun between work sessions at home. Enjoy your friday/weekend!
(I love the words joy or /zhwah/ in French… and appreciation)… find the joy in life and appreciate the blessings.
Ryan? oh, maybe a hint of snarky… but not much. Too good a soul.
I’ve never seen a better artistic description of a Friday :)! I had a moment like that today, I randomly started chalk pasteling and it was awesome! Jammies make good towels to wipe the dust off your hands when you don’t wanna waste tissue. Also, don’t wipe dark blue on your Mom to be funny, it doesn’t really come off, oops.
P.S. As for your response to comment yesterday Brig, A) I’m not sure Steinbecking is a proper verb, but it should be. B) I definitly see the parallels between Cannery Row and Squid Row, Squid Row has taken on a new dimension for me! The Squid website(e.g. the comments) is kinda like Cannery Row too. It’s tiny but it’s nice :D.
Kinda like a tide pool, ain’t it?
Brig: Exactly! Tide pools are cool, I’ve always wanted to see one! *puts “see ocean” on bucket list*
Meghan: A great place to do that is the Bridlington Bay / Sewerby area in East Yorkshire, England 🙂
