What’s in the Voodoo Brew? My personal favorite I-got-three-hours-of-sleep-time-to-wake-up drink is called a “Shot in the Dark”, a shot of espresso in a cup of coffee.
Nah, she is a Aude, but she has the barista sixth sense for knowing when I really need a strong coffee… Now if you ever come in Nantes, I’ll buy you a coffee!
There is no better madness… than coffee-fueled madness! Nay. And Kineko, I will take you up on your offer, thank you…. if I ever get to Nantes (France?)…
Ha ha, Astragali! Her legs would look like The Flintstones (when they’re in the car)…
Voodoo… I like the word… It’s one of them fun words…. it has a mysteriousness about it as well. So I was influenced by the donuts, yes. Too, Randie’s favorite coffee mug is one that says Voodoo Kitty. I just like it.
Shelby… shot in the dark… yes…. BANG! And as to what’s in the Voodoo Brew… ? It’s like Fred said…. witch doctor secret.
Pete… I am reluctant to change the “gang page” just yet. No reason.
I actually made it to Voodoo donuts down in Portland Oregon last Christmas season. The hubby and I stopped off just to try the donuts because we had heard so much about them, then we had a near panic attack when our car wouldn’t start back up.
We still had a ways to travel and we were stranded for about half an hour trying to get it working again. We did finally manage to get back on the road and made it down to the in-laws place so all was good. My stepfather-in-law is a mechanic so he took a look under our hood and fixed everything he could find so we made it back up to the Seattle area without issue.
Too bad there was a short somewhere that he missed though and we wound up having an engine fire a week later that pretty much totaled our car. My husband had gone out shopping and maybe about 15 minutes after he got in the door one of his coworkers came and knocked and told him the car was on fire… after the fire department tore the hood open and got the fire out we realized that she was a total loss.
But hey… on the bright side, she was parked at the time it happened and no one got hurt.
omg, would be perfect right about now…must get me some of that 5am voodoo brew, does randy deliver to Oregon? 🙂
Are Randie’s eyes bloodshot in panel 4? Mostly her left one… *squint*
I want some of this coffee! Or a barista like Fred! (ho wait, I already have one..)
I don’t envy her the crash. *shudder* Or the caffeine headache.
If you (can) get booster shots on the proper schedule, you’ll never come down. From his appearance, that might be where Fred is at.
Voodoo Brew… comin’ right at you! Kineko… you got a Fred who’s a Barista?
Yup, Randie has the bloodshot eyes. This stuff is STRONG! Pete… it’s gonna be a BIG crash, for sure!
Heather… It’s a long drive to Oregon… give’r a few days…. maybe a week (the scooter don’t go over 35 mph).
Beetles… Fred is on a constant coffee high for certain…. it’s how he gets so much done in his day!

Hey, Brig!
I just noticed you’ll hafta put on your writer’s cap and update The Gang page. A few things have happened since last you wrote there.
A Naggy Reader
Coffee-fueled madness. Is there any better sensation?
Nah, she is a Aude, but she has the barista sixth sense for knowing when I really need a strong coffee… Now if you ever come in Nantes, I’ll buy you a coffee!
Brig, if Randie’s hopped up on that much caffeine, she’s not going to need the Vespid – she’ll reach over 35mph just from running! 😛
brig… Voodoo? Any relation to your aforementioned donuts?
Sure took those zzzzzz’s away…and she’s sure not going to need to tap into her merchandise.
Shelby… Love the name of that wakemeup.
