Epic Game
Ever NOT want to stop playing because you were in the middle of an EPIC game? There were games of Tunnels of Doom that went on an entire day… I don’t remember eating… but we must have.

I don’t remember ever being obsessed with a game that much before.
I do know that firedome has had many games that started early in the day, and have lasted non stop well into the night.
Yah… That would be considered epic in my book.
That’s why you need an i.v. in your veins. Good to go.
Oh Wow, Mouse would not be a good person to let loose in a casino with a floating credit account. 7 hours later he’d still be going.
I happily do recall game nights in my past, some starting in the light (early evening) and ending in the light (next morning). I even hosted some such marathons. Only we used board games in the day, not the LAN linked desktops and web linked laptops that have followed. Not video consoles either. The boards offered plenty of options in their own right. Monopoly, Risk, Axis and Allies, Cosmic Encounter, Dungeonquest are some that come to mind. Oh, and never link 2 Risk games together. The paths connect just fine, but the game becomes neverending.
By their very nature, organized game nights would dictate an assemblage of vast quantities of sodas (coffee would come later), pizzas, cookies, cakes, ice cream, party mixes, chips, dips and other tastey treats typically referred to as “junk.” Mouses epic battles seems unintentional. The poor guy did not prepare for battle. Pitty the unprepared.
Rampage was my favorite game, and it’s hard to not have an appetite when you’re playing as a monster that eats everything!
I remember Rampage. It was a blast in arcade form. Lost something in the PC version, smaller screen, gameplay, something just lacked.
Okay, how about Crazy Taxi? Ah, driving with reckless abandon throught the streets, in the air and under the waters of San Fran?! Wears you out, so no marathon here, but lotsa fun.
SMH for Mouse.
*shudder* TOO many games in my past had me as badly hooked as Mouse. Glad to say those days are behind me.
i seem to recall a few diablo 2 sessions that lasted from sundown to sunup…
There are 63 hours between when I leave work this morning (it’s my Friday!) and when I have to be back Thursday night (my Monday – boo!) – and I will likely spend 40 of them playing Borderlands 2.
That qualify? 😀
Hey, I only have 3 of the 5 characters maxed out, new expansions coming soon, and Colonial Marines will be out before we know it – I gots stuff to DO!
Firedome: More than a few.
Wow, you guys… It’d be fun to track how many hours of your life you spend in virtual reality. Any estimates?
I love game nights… we haven’t had one in awhile. Scrabble is king at my house! But now we have a Wii… so that’s kinda like a video game situation. Hours float by… but there’s a good lot of exercising involved. We have the sport and work out discs.
