Dog Pile
Even the pooches and kitties need donations this time of year. Why not donate an old towel or blanket to your local animal shelter?

Does home resident Twinkie not have a say in his bedding’s removal?
…And it’s being repurposed for dog bedding at that?
Wow, Saturday Night Live had Jesus correctly predict the outcome of a football game!
This being the holiday season, extra attention is being put on Tim Tebot the quarterback who, finally, at the demands of the fans, was allowed to lead the Denver Broncos. He got them six straight wins, and is famous for kneeling down and praying on the field, and referring to God, Jesus and blessings in interviews. His kneeling has become so well known, that doing the pose has been named “teboting.” Sadly, several high school football players have been suspended for “teboting” on the field, but that’s another story. Anyhow, Saturday Night had the Broncos visited by Jesus. A prediction was made, and sure enough the Patriots won the next day.

This is on hulu, so I’m hoping it won’t embed like youtube.
Unclear about what Tebow has to do with today’s strip, but I sure can tell you what pops in my mind when I read “dog pile”.
E:O… Oops, misspelled “Tebow.” Thanks for that.
Yup, there’s alot of dog piling in football when there’s a loose ball up for grabs.
Just saw it and thought others would equally amused.
Uh, so what does pop into your mind concerning a “dog pile?” Do towels fit into the picture?
stick… er, that was a STRETCH…. football and donating towels… even IF dog piles are involved. Keep it relevant por favor. (You mighta noticed that there is little professional sporting in this strip).
As far as Twinkie’s bedding. He prefers, or seems to, dirty laundry.
Donating blankets and towels to your local shelter is indeed a good thing.
Blankets and towels can be donated to your local Pet Smart to be donated to Animal Friends Rescue Project. AFRP is a no-kill shelter that adopts cats and dogs to loving families.
They rent space in the Sand City Pet Smart, and can always use towels, toys and blankets.
This is good to know, Squid! Keep those kitties and pooches toweled up!
