Yup, I rarely use ACTUAL product names when I lampoon. One, they aren’t PAYING me to mention their product. Two, I just like making fun of corporate commercial products, and three… I don’t want any legal yuckyness mussing with my creative vibe.
For some reason, I tend to alternate between real names (with copyright attribution, as per ComicGenesis requirements), and made-up ones. The reasons vary, from not wanting to get sued to seeing if people will notice the puns in the new names 🙂
