Dismay
Chicken pox really aren’t any fun. I had them when I was 15-ish… oh the embarrassment… the older you are when you have them, the worse the case.

Not only that, but getting chicken pox sets the stage for shingles later in life.
Fun to scratch, right?……Right?
Yat… that’s what those commercials keep scaring us with… I hate those commercials…. and all “the pill” commercials, too!
Jack… ew-ew-ew!
Heh, the busboy looks a little like Steve Carell.
Urg… Grace, chicken pox, coffee, and scratching all in my mind at the same time. Maximum squickage. I may never fully recover.
What happened to having a coffee maker in the break room at work.
Randie, even with her low income, is a ‘coffee snob’…Mr. Coffee wouldn’t cut it, I’m afraid…
That’s why you don’t settle for Mr. Coffee – I don’t, anymore. Not now that I have gotten used to having a Keurig coffeemaker and make coffee by the cup.
And before you self-proclaimed coffee snobs get on my case, I only use the k-cups for my quick cup before work – after work and on the weekends I use the single-serve reusable strainer and brew it fresh. Granted, I just use Folger’s Morning Blend in it usually, but occasionally use some fresh-ground beans when I feel like going the extra yard or two. 😉
Just about finished off my creme brulee creamer, think tomorrow I’ll crack open the Heath toffee one next …
Oh, and I also use k-cups for the Sleepytime herbal tea (by Celestial Seasons, I think they’re called?) – it does live up to its name, a cup of that before bed seems to help me drift off to sleep.
uwg… Ha… he does, don’t he? It’s the nose.
Attic…unpleasant, I guess, ain’t it? Well… think of… kittens… kittens drinking coffee.
Eric… out of fashion. These things happen.
Judy… could you see Randie doing freeze-dried? Do they even make that anymore? Starbucks did a stint with that a bit ago…
Grey…. I, being a purist, will forgo the opinions on the k-cups. I can’t say that I’m a fan, but I know a lot of people use them. I suppose it’s good for variety…. and just one cup at a time. Smiles.
I had the chicken pox when I was a lil kid. Kindergarten, I think. And then the measles in first grade. They were both easy for me; I don’t think I had more than a dozed or so spots on me.
My sister and brother, however, got hit hard. 🙁
