Mouse has struggled with this issue. Giving your word and keeping it is obviously very important to Mouse. Perhaps he was a Boy Scout in his youth.

There is no higher authority than our own conscience.
Well, real mice squeal also. Plus, Mouse promised not to let anyone know about the impending doom of the art mart, and yet he told Midge. And the boy has got to be having some sort of stress ulcer issues.
Wolf… Some folks consciences, or lack thereof, leave alot to be desired.
Perhaps Mouse should think on this:
If the store closes and Randie is abruptly out of a job, does the satisfaction of honor for not telling outweigh the guilt for not helping his friend?
“You must do what you feel is right, of course.” -Obi wan.
It’s a tough call. Carol certainly hasn’t done much to deserve Mouse’s faithfulness. But he’s a straight up guy and you have to give him points for wanting to keep his word. Ulcers could be in his future if he’s not careful. You’d think working for Carol would’ve given him ulcers already!
*SNAP!* Goes the rat trap.
A Mouse Trap?
Watch this cheese commercial all the way through, it doesn’t end with a dead mouse.

So, if he’s a Rat then he’s Grace’s boyfriend? And why am I the only person who remembers that throwaway character?
Hey, look everyone! An ad for SCAPULA on the Ex-Men comic!
Jack & stick… I like mice… and mouse traps make me sad. It was hard to watch that commercial all the way through. But I do like the ending. I have something called a “tin cat.” It is a humane trap. They get in to this device and then they cannot get out. I keep it around because my cat brings the little guys IN.
Dada… I’m glad you caught the plug. Hee hee. Wily cartoonist.
brig… Humane trap? So what happens to the trapped mouse? Is he set free?
On a side note, the fear of talking, informing, ratting, squealing is what allows crime and disorder to flourish. Blow that whistle Mouse.
Stick: I didn’t say everyone’s conscience was all that great, just said it was the highest authority. 😉
So, yeah, those who have little or none to speak of – a scary lot, they are. Means they are at best sociopathic, but possibly psycopathic, and not someone I plan to hang around with, if I can avoid it.
