Y’know, soon as I read this, I got the scene in my head from Lord of the Rings, where the Hobbits are dsicovering pints for the first time. Substitute “pints” with “bowls”, and enjoy …
“What is *that*?”
“This … is a bowl.”
“A bowl? They come in BOWLS? I’m gonna get me one …”
Well, eventually it gets all kinds of fluids flowing . . .
Only thing to improve on a bowl of coffee would be a coffee IV drip. 😀
As I recall, many wonderful relationships have begun over a cup of coffee…
Can’t wait to see the aunts reaction to the new design!
A cup of coffee, fine, but a bowl??? How do you even drink it? Soup spoon? Bendy straw? Scoop it out repeatedly with a coffee cup? Face plant? Ooo, hot coffee, okay not the last one.
And so, she will drink and drink and drink and drink some more, then create, then bounce off the walls, then pass out (caffeine crash), and then recreate the never-ending pee scene from the first Austin Powers…maybe even sitting down.
Grey… I love that scene. Nicely done.
DCS… yer a coffee drinker… you know… one cup, two cups, three cups… loo.
Pete… Ah… but then you don’t get that lovely smokey bean flavor… Oh, I love coffee soooo.
Judy… you don’t say…
Eprinc… Your’s truly had to design for Randie… I like it… but I don’t wanna spoil anything.
stick… You lift said bowl to your mouth and drink as you would from a cup… it’s only bigger…. holds more coffee… ah… more coffee.
I like your rendition…. that IS the creative process right there.
Nice expression on Randie in the last panel!
I don’t remember where, but I went to a cafe once that had basically coffee bowls. They looked just like coffee cups, but they were big enough to serve as soup bowls and then some. They served their coffee and hot cocoa in these things it was awesome!
Now if only I could remember where it was and what it was called…
