Okay, I’ve (vicariously) put up with a lot of Grace’s crap, but man oh man does panel 3 make me want to hit her. C’mon, Randie. Give Mouse an in-real-life “ONE PUNCH!” moment…
You know, as annoyed as I am at Grace at the same time I’m kinda digging on the fact that cause Randie is so low blood sugar and loopy from over work she isn’t noticing that its almost a date with Mouse!
I’m kind of betting this isn’t how he envisioned a first date with her…probably sweeping her off her feet with rose petals and limos, not a barely conscious Randie who may have to be carried at some point.
Heather… can you just see Mouse in deep daydream…? I think HIS ideal romantic moment with Randie is carting her off to a Comic Con… in a limo.
Jack… They could gang up on Grace. Pummel her somethin’ serious. That reminds me… It’s A Wonderful Life was on recently and there was a spoof done on SNL back in the 80’s where Dana Carvey was Jimmy Stewart and “in the lost ending” to that movie, He and everyone in Bedford Falls starts beating the crud out of Mr. Potter. Anybody remember that?
Sock Grace? Ha. Randie’s probably got enough energy in her for feather-weight tap.
Being in Monterey at the moment, I must say that this web version of the strip comes across sooooooooooo much better than the much smaller and low-res printed version in the paper.

And Grace is so certain Randie’s acting because…?
It’s a common trait of human nature to project our own motives and values – or lack thereof – onto others.
Nice to know Grace is human. 😉

Mouse knows what’s up. Sock Grace in the kisser!
Joe: SHE’s a mean one, that Ms. Grinch…
Pete… free lunch….

*hehe* I hadn’t seen that SNL skit, but it’s up on NBC’s site for anyone that wants a good laugh.
