And Randie is completely right. A day off should be that, just like a sick day should be a day for being sick. We overtask ourselves too much, and Randie’s approach is the perfect answer. Up at the crack of noon, a breakfast/lunch composed of a Box O’ Donuts, and time happily spent wondering what you want to do, knowing that doing nothing is a joyful option.
Agreed on the sick day, if you’re sick: Stay home, sleep, eat, and don’t worry about anything besides getting better. And stop coming to school and infecting me!
