IKEA furniture must seem golden to someone whose furniture comes from the curb, yah?
I remember when I bought my first nice couch… I couldn’t get rid of old, yucky, second hand, sofa fast enough!!!

craigslist is a wonderful thing. If you keep your eyes open, you can get some wonderful deals on good furnishings– like the leather sectional I’m sitting on right now. cost me all of $100 😀
I’ve gone through the phases of curb-couch to Goodwill to Discount Furniture to IKEA. (Not much further, though, since we’re raising five sons and wow! are they tough on furniture!) I understand exactly where Randie is coming from and where she is. There’s nothing quite like enjoying new furniture. (“New” to you, that is.)
Orange and yellow stripes? Ryan may know how to write, but his taste in home decor leaves much to be desired…
Every Writer has “his or her chair” … and this… Ryan likes strips. His last chair was green and yellow striped… I think there was some maroon in there.
Craiglist is a nifty place… there is a free stuff area… free stuff is great!
Pete… five kids/boys will do a number on any couch!
Hey, it’s armchair from “Frasier”! The one his dad loves but Frasier can’t stand!
Kinda’, sorta’…
Ya’ know; for Randie to become a Famous Millionaire Artist, all she has to do is marry herself a famous millionaire, and keep up the artist stuff.
Oh wait, then she’d be a famous millionaire’s artist.
Nevermind.
My family doesn’t know about new furniture. It’s all just old stuff given to us. What really bothers me though, is how fast we go through sofas. Excluding our current one that we (my sister and I)have seemingly jumped on and played London Bridge Is Falling Down with it and the poor wall forever.
Stick… I dunno… can’t you see Randie finding a patron…? Maybe a local celebrity that lives in nearby Carmelo by the Ocean.
Leia… So you never got that new furniture smell?
