One of the best shows I ever saw was in the early 70’s in St Louis, MO. It was a Sunday afternoon of Macabre fantasy performed by the St Louis Symphony. They did the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Night on Bald Mountain, and some other stuff. But the high point of the afternoon was 3 of Edgar Allan Poe’s poems, with orchestral background, written and conducted by the Symphony’s director, Leonard Slatkin. The three poems included The Raven. And it was narrated by none other than Vincent Price…
Awwwww… Brilliant way to put her in the comic!
She’s stark raven mad!
Only this and nothing more…
RG2Cents… thank you… sorry it took me so long to post! Smiles!
Dada… YES, she IS! And WHY IS a raven like a writing desk?
Rich… nothing and never…
Why is a raven like a writing desk? They’ve both been written upon 🙂
