Ah… brings back memories of when my wife and I owned our comic book store. There’s something special about owning a business. And there are some thing’s that are pretty boring… especially when you forget to flip the sign. (Which happened to us a couple times.)

Pete… Yes, there’s something freeing about business ownership… and if you make checklists (see above) things go a lot smoother. I could stand to do a few more check-listing.
There used to be a record store in the Detroit area (don’t know if it’s still there, haven’t been there in yonks) that had a sign that said “Yes! We’re CLOSED” on one side and “Sorry, we’re OPEN” on the other.
