I imagine that the teeth-grinding joy that is Maximillian would be a great asset to dentists everywhere… what a way to improve business… have Max move in!

*heh* Just look at whatever he wants to show you, then say: “Wow! That’s your best work yet! Reminds me of… of… Cap’n Crunch. Yeah, that’s it! It’s nearly as stunning as a Cap’n Crunch cereal box! That’s so cool!”
That’ll send him into a spiraling funk. Then Spill would have a mopey artist to deal with, but at least he’d be quiet. (Except for occasional muffled sobs.)
Remember, Max, ego is a two-edged sword.
First Jimmy Chow, now Maximillian. Where does a nice gal like Spill find these people?
I share Randie’s pain though, I think everyone has one friend whose SUPER nice but attracts total jerks. Pheromones perhaps :)?
Meghan: Nah, I think it’s easier than that. It’s confidence – people are swept along by that – which is why (IMO) a lot of people end up in relationships with arrogant people, because they’re attracted to that confidence.
On that note, here’s how I see confidence vs. courage:
Confidence is the delusion that everything is going to go alright.
Courage is when you think everything is going to go wrong, but you try anyway.
Of the two, I’d rather have courage than confidence (though the former can get you further…)
