Candle Burn
Burnout is unpleasant… there’s so little of you left to give to any one. Instead of giving your all, you give, in Randie’s case less than a third.

Give ’til it hurts? I give up.
2am and I need to sleep Z-z-z-z-z…
*uuuuughhh* But what do you do? Give up on your dream? Or give up on food? You can only cut one of them so far before it withers.
Well put Randie. Well put. What happens when you run out of ends? How could they ever meet?
Gotta eat.
Moo Juice on the post-it. Ha.
Funny in that she seemed to be able to make ends meet before her added mural job. Ryan is a bit too full of energy here, she ought to have him fill in for her at Joe’s and/or the Art Mart until her mural is done.
Edna St. Vincent Millay gave the real reson to burn a candle at both ends: “It gives a lovely light.”
Probably some of my favorite drawings of Randie ever.
Joe… sleepie nigh-nigh…. hope you have non-work related dreams.
Pete… sometimes ya gatta do what ya gatta do. Passing up the French Cafe mural warn’t an option… and really… that’s a temporary job. So sleepless is temporary…. ? maybe?
Jack… poof.
Lee… eating is certainly a wonderful activity… provided you can afford it.
stick… the state of Randie’s bills, if you know Randie, is “rob Peter to pay Paul” (ha!!), Who won’t come after me this month? and I’ll pay this one and I won’t pay the full on that one… and…
Beetle… I like that! To quote the Temptations, “Burn, baby, burn…disco inferno!”
Dada… you like face plants and exhausted-ness…? … yer weird (but we knew that!) Smiles…
I can identify with Randy’s fatigue. I was tired all through college until…oh, about yesterday. After spending several months in Italy, my son said to me, “In America, we live to work. In Europe, they work to live.” Non?
Dr. Fuse… You got’s it… or your son does… I love the work ethic in France…. it’s the only country other than England that I’ve spent any time in to observe their work ethic. And it is apparently the same as Italy’s. (Italy is on the list of countries to see)… Did your son enjoy his 7 months there? and where abouts?
Someone should remind Randie that burning the candle at both ends also runs the risk of meeting your end before you get the ends to meet …
