Calling
There’s nuthin’ like the feeling of “I just missed out on something good!”… It seems I’m always just behind on things… FUH!

I just got through with the same deal- finally got it sorted out, but those near misses are a real killer. Hopefully there’s something extra special just around the corner :3
Doesn’t happen around here. Instead, there’s a 3-month waiting list.
When I was looking for my apt I had the same experience as Randy. Luckily I had a bit of a conversation with one of the brokers and he ended up calling me back a couple of days later with an apartment in another building. This one was WAY nicer than the first one I was interested in (it has a fireplace!) AND it was cheaper to boot! I know Randie will find something great if she just holds out a little longer.
Cy… You know the bummer then… When you think it’s fabulous and then you realize, “I missed it….” It’s not the ULTIMATE bummer… but a bummer.
Chug… ooo. THAT’S a bummer!
Rinna… chicka-boom! That worked out better than was expected… I love it when you get that little surprise blessing and you smile widely at the joy of your bettered circumstances…
Apartment hunting is the worst. Job hunting is pretty bad too. Sleep hunting will ruin all of the above.
Yeah, Mr. Firedome just went through this recently. He’s been apartment hunting lately. Good Luck to ya Firedome!
Well fortunately, Randy doesn’t have a cat, it’s way harder to find an app… Wait… I feel I’m missing something…
Jack… agreed… zzzzzzzzz.
squid man… good luck, Firedome! … and Happy early birthday, Squid!
Val… are you referring to Twinkie? Twinkie is not Randie’s cat… he belongs to her friend and former neighbor, B.B., who moved to Portland…and left her cat.
Been there, done that. It’s discouraging, but perseverance pays off.
Eh. Randie needs her beauty sleep (those caffeine crashes take a lot out of ya!).
dr fuse… yah… plugging along, in the long run, wins out!
Dada… don’t you know it! She needs to lay off the quadruple espressos.
Ah yeah but he came back with them when Randie and Ryan tried to give him back? I think it’s time to reread the archive! 🙂
