ya know…in a little twist of irony, just yesterday, patrick and i were talking about the possibility of randie wanting to get rid of twinkie. patrick thought it would be good idea (he thought that shipping him in a crate up to portland should be okay) and my stance was i don’t think you’d do it (i felt the character had more mileage)…shows you what second-guessing can get ya.
They’re coming up to Portland! They can crash at my house if they need to.
Poor Rye, just caught in the middle and too nice to say no. Twink would make the 4th gato at my place. He’d get in line. Twink in Portland, that sounds awesome!
Was surprised not to see the cat in the strip this morning, he’s been a regular feature for some time now. Well at least it’s still about him. Wonder how the comic would do if it was called, Twinkie.
Field trip she says? To Portland? As in Oregon?? I’m not exactly sure what the cartoon distance between Cypress City and Portland is, but I’m guessing it’s gonna consume lots of four-dollar-plus a gallon petrol. We can sure see who’s going to be picking up the tab in this cat trek.

When not chillin’ at Table E-10 with Jack of Gulls, I will be slithering around The Jupiter Hotel or maybe Powell’s Books… or Voodoo Donuts! OH YAH! I love me some Portland!… come Look me up!

stick: yes, Twinkie has been the star of late…. this whole storyline was based on my kitty’s own cat fight, from which she has totally recovered. Storyline is easy to write when you have a model to write from.
Travels with Charlie was, indeed, a sub-plot there in London. The upcoming drama is based on something else. However, I will give you a heads up… you’ll have to wait a bit longer for THAT story to begin. Smiles.
Twinkie’s gonna find a way to get out of a field trip, I just know it. He causes so much havoc, he can’t possibly be out of the strip.
Chase: are you concerned about Twinkie and his staying in the strip? If so… I’m touched on his behalf. (I can’t help but notice your avatar… that’d be an Aristocatic kitty?)

Let Twinkie stay, but bring back a dog for Randie. A true best friend…a loyal companion…competition for Twinkie. I loved the visitor she had a while ago. Maybe another stray can cross Randie’s path????
brig: Nah. Not too concerned. I DO want Randie to catch a break, but he makes for some great filler comics though, so if he’s completely out, I’ll miss him. 🙁
As for the avatar, it’s one of my own kitty characters 🙂 I commissioned one on of the more “famous” artists on DeviantArt to draw it for me; it’s much nicer in it’s larger format.
uwg… LOVE IT! Ha! I am in perpetual stage two. I don’t think I could handle all that rain. I own a lot of papery type items… I hate mold … I hate damp paper. I hate moldy damp paper. I also hate being wet. How do the Portland hipster cartoonists do it?
Anyhoo… Dr.Fuse… I think a little “chit” dog would do the trick. Ryan sure enjoyed Charlie back in London. It could happen.
