Be French
Randie’s retort at the end reminds me of Miss Congeniality where Sandra Bullock’s character, Gracie, is trying to tell Micheal Cain’s character, Victor, how the mystery killer and bomber is going to do away with his next victim. She says something like” it’s in the crown!” Victor misinterprets what she’s trying to tell him, in the midst of the Beauty contest going on… and he says “Be the Crown.” ya know… visualize winning the crown… be the crown…
That seems like a lot to get my point across just then. Sorry. I do love that movie though.
Thought Randie was not of the reading persuasion. Hope BE-ing French won’t mess up her art too much. Seems to be trying too hard to please by giving up her own artistic perspective for that of someone else’s. I bet Johnny Chow wouldn’t give up his perspective to paint a scenic mural.
Yeah, but he paints…y’know, garbage. Actual, not metaphorical. Who’d want THAT in a restaurant mural? I like to think of Randie expanding her horizons.
It’s not how you cook, it’s what you cook.
Oops, ment “Jimmy.”
Like the book title.
Would you like ketchup or mustard with those fries?
Oh, wait… “French-ify.”
What, there’s more to cooking than a microwave and a hot plate? But then, the only thing I know how to make is reservations…
French, huh? Better start on those Snotty Lessons (she could get tutored by Grace, Maximillian, Jimmy Chow…).
…you must be the french…would that be Mister French from Family Affair or Victor French from Highway to Heaven?
stick & Jude… Randie has a fondness for French things to begin with… if she should want to turn over a new leaf… like say Julia Child… that would be a good thing. But maybe she ought to throw herself at learning to SPEAK French before she moves onto cooking. Although… maybe it’d help…
mmm… escargot… You like that, eh? Jack?
but ya wouldn’t wanna cook ’em in a microwave for sure! Kona… reservations! Escargot, I trust to a fine restaurant… not to my own kitchen.
Hee hee… Firedome…. I like Pepe Le Peee-ew!
Dada… Ms. Snot (Grace) would be a great teacher… just ask her how her day’s going…?
