B Day Invite
Okay, for the record… I don’t speak computer language and I don’t really eat Vietnamese food. I had to do some research for this one.

I think she was just rolling off random syllables to baffle Randie.
You gotta be up for an adventure. If there’s noodles involved, it’s gonna be good.
Hill View…a tad “bit” smaller version of Mountain View, Caleeforneea (a.k.a. Silicon Valley).
Or is it a tad “byte” smaller version?
Oh c’mon, Randie backing out of a birthday double date? Midge and Zeek driving up front with Randie and Mouse filling up the back seat. What could be better, er, badder? A fish-out-of-water invite, for sure, what with geek signal processors, foreign food, chopsticks and possible road song sing-alongs…”1100011 bottles of cream soda on the wall, 1100011 bottles of cream soda, take one down, pass it around, 1100010 bottles of cream, 1100010 bottles of …”
(1100011 is binary for 99 in decimal)
Mouse should have given her the choco-berries, that way she’d feel more obligated to oblige.
Dada… and confusing Randie she did!
Jack… I have had a craving for noodles of late! I just got a water dispenser at my office… that has hot water! Now I can enjoy the noodling cup of noodles… (but with the low salt, yah?)
stick… Ha! … and Hillview would be a “lesser” Mountain View. You got that.
You speak a little geek I see. I am used to saying “wah?” in certain circles.
Viet cuisine is teh awesome, take it from me. Start with pho (beef noodle soup) and go from there. Goi cuon (summer rolls) are also good.
Around here all the Viet eateries are an hour away, in Cleveland. *sad*
Vietnamese food is amazingly good! I think I’ll go have a bowl of pho…
For those local squids able to venture over, there’s a massively happening Vietnamese food palace in Monterey called Chopstix (former Wendy’s restaurant) with seating inside and out, there’s one somewhere in Seaside also. You’ll likely have to wait for a table if you go, or just have them deliver. Well, not to Salinas…sorry, brig, too far. They also feature a bar with all kinds of custom flavored smoothies, teas, slushes, mochas and the like. If you get drinks, pick up a stamp card. And for one buck more they upsize your $5.50 lunch to a dinner size.

Last night, having mentioned noodles… I had to have some Thai Phad noodles… oh, the joy!
Summer rolls do sound good… dang… now I’m hungry… hey! I got leftovers! Yay!
stick… in SoCal there is a chain called Chopstix that does healthy asian (mostly Chinese)… it’s not THAT one is it?
brig… This place seems to be only local to Monterey… check out the menu at their web site… very tastey looking food pictures there.
Wow… Mouse JUST missed having the same birthday as ENIAC. How geeky-cool would THAT have been?
