Artist Model
This was me in when I was in college. Except my pants were clean. I am very good about that. I am a neat painter. Still am. Look, Mah… No paint under my finger nails!

I am an incredibly neat artistic painter but when I do room painting I end up looking like a Jackson Pollock canvas….at least it usually ends up on me and not the furniture or carpet!
Excellent, clean hands, Bridgett… But did you remember to wash behind your ears, hmm? 😉
I think it would be harder to assume they weren’t an artist.
I’ve seen a few of these :)! I’m one myself somewhat, though more often a writer. Which is the same thing but with pen and/or pencil stains instead.
Unless I’m using chalk pastels, they manage to cover a 4-foot square perimeter around me in rainbow, my clothes included :).
I always forget to clean behind my ears… I hang my head in shame, Astragali.
Gah! It’s the one thing I hate about pastels, Meggie… the dust… otherwise, the medium is ever-so-cool.
Keeping your furniture clean is most important!
“Can usually be found hanging around a coffee house . . . looking hungry.” XD Been there. And “Can be seen with a slightly amused yet totally disinterested look on his or her face.” XD So that IS an artist thing . . .
The local cartoonist is just as easy to spot, slightly less carrying in their case, but there are the tell-tale pencil-smeared hands as well as the ink stained fingers. 🙂
