Unless, Brig, you’ve sneakily introduced a new, additional nemesis for Randie and Mouse to deal with – and you’re commenting using the rather odd device of sounding like you’re another person! (assuming, of course, that “Brig” isn’t a gestalt entity – argh, this is too much to be thinking about at 4.10am EDT!)
Grace must be the owner’s daughter/niece/friend’s daughter or something, right? No matter how two-faced she is, the screw ups we’ve seen require some sort of willful blindness by the boss…
Grace is most fortunate to have a boss that is rarely around to see her “excellent” customer service skills. Carol, who is rather disorganized and can’t run a business worth beans, usually lets Mouse do most of the business stuff… and as you might guess by his name, he doesn’t stand up to people well, least of all Grace.
I don’t think Randie appreciates her job… I think she has a love/hate thing goin’… she likes the art supplies & a regular paycheck – hates Grace/retail situation.
But as I’ve found out… you should find the good in things…. you’ll be a lot happier.

Nothing is worse than having a job you hate to go in to unless it is having a job you really like but having to work with someone you can’t stand.

While it’s true about finding the good in things, sometimes you need a microscope… (*resists urge to do Steinbeck-related joke*)
It’s really a wonder The Artbox stays in business at all :)!
