Apartment Fail
I would run from this apartment. I don’t really like little jumpy dogs… I find them pretty annoying. I find people who think that their little jumpy dogs aren’t annoying… annoying.

That is NOT ME. Some of the tenants here have tried to sneak dogs in, though.
Non-smoking apartment in which she’s smoking… huh.
“These are my poopsies.” Probably a LOT of truth in advertising there.
Ladies like this can end up being very nice, even if they’re set in their ways. But do you REALLY want to find out after committing to a multi-month rental agreement?
Yes, apartment hunting arround here can be quite the challenge. Smoking landlords, yip dogs, and even noisy neighbors can make finding one even harder. and of course, at this time of year, the students are also looking for their own places to live.
By the way, in regards to yesterday’s comic, the neighborhood in question is called ” Oak Grove”. It is quite a nice neighborhood.
It also happens in South Dakota. Until about March of this year, the manager of my apartment complex was a blonde who smoked. She took her habit outside, of course. If I had to leave the building (to get groceries, say) and she was standing at one door smoking, I just went out the opposite way.
Run RYE RUN!
EofO… I KNOW that’s not you!
Pete… Yah, she’s got her ciggie in the door way there, as if the smoke wouldn’t just waft into the apartment.
Squid… Eddie Izzard refers to the small dogs as “yapper-type dogs.” I like Yip dogs as well. And Oak Grove… near NPS and El Estero…
James… Yah, that’s her.
Jack… no doubt… and far!
Too bad about the smokin’ (and not in a good way) landlady and her little poopers, Ryan could have put that empty bookcase to good use.
My apartment building doesn’t allow pets, so I don’t have that problem. I’m not really dog people – I used to be afraid of them, but my “dogs-in-law” (my brothers’ dogs) cured me of that, although I’m still a bit skittish around large or overly enthusiastic doggies…..
