Hey, don’t make exasperated comments at the messenger, it’s not her fault your entire life is a perpetual waste of time, the only point of your existence to toil endlessly for some suit who doesn’t care if you live or die, to finally be free at the end of yet another long day only to spend your free time sacrificing all the money you earned back into their pockets by- I can’t remember where I was going with this.
Pete… I, uh, made my lunch today… but I DID treat myself with a second cup of coffee from Rollicker’s… and it’s a good one!
Here’s a tidbit you might be interested in… My peeps and I are going to go to a lecture by the author, Christopher Moore tonight… are you familiar? He wrote “Sacre Bleu”… a murder mystery set around the death of Van Gogh. It should be interesting.
Sm. Dave… Whoa! Dave… that’s harsh. Are you saying that Admin. Prof.s are shackled to desks, fed irregularly and paid minimally? … because you are probably right. Somebody buy these people some coffee and flowers!
Suzii….Mr. Moore is a really funny guy. He talked for almost two hours about all his books except Sacre Bleu… which was a bit disappointing… but I enjoyed the lecture quite a bit. I recommend the audio book of Sacre Bleu.
Here, there’s a full Administrative Professionals breakfast at one of the hotels. And since our station helps put it on I got to go even though I’m not one! Had to help take stuff down afterwards, but I think a free breakfast is worth it.
OOOOOHHHHH! It Admin. Asst. Day! THAT’S why the company is springing for a free lunch of Primo Hoagies today. Nifty!
So if you are your own Admin. Asst., Brig, can you buy a nice lunch for yourself?

That’s the kind of competence you get from marketing!
It could always be worse. Ms Admin-Asst could be a starving artist working part-time delivering coffee on a scooter.
Dada… Ha… competence.
A. Rat… sad, but true. But Randie doesn’t have to wear panty hose.
Oh, I love me some Christopher Moore and hadn’t heard that he’d done a Van Gogh story!
Thanks, Brig, your work here is done.

Hello, Scott M… Free food is ALWAYS worth it… (that’s a Randie-type saying, non?) … I hope there were tasty Pop’n Tarts involved.
