This is exactly how I feel about charcoal. I dislike the dust and the mess, but like the affects you get by smudging. I need some sort of artist Haz-mat suit!

For whatever reason… I had trouble making Randie look goofy enough in the last panel. Mismatched patterns did the trick… but still, I feel like I didn’t go far enough.
I’m a visual person. I hafta SEE stuff. I think the original idea for this toon, was to have Randie sketch everything in her sketchbook….
