Back from Portlandia
Harold absolutely loved Stumptown! It was Harold’s first time in Portland. And he made so many new friends. There were so many cartoonists “doing their thing.” His Portland adventure took him from Guapo Comics and Coffee’s Stumptown opening party… to the comic fest, to walking along the river on an unusually sunny day.

Nice pics; looks like a great time was had by all; if Harold could only talk….or type….
…he’d concur…probably in an elmo-ish voice.
Elmo-voice is too sweet and unthreatening. I don’t know that I want to attach a voice to’im. It’s funny… we were just talking, Judy & I, about “Squid Row-The Musical” … and the subject came up about having voices for the characters…. and it hurt my noggin to think of Ryan’s “sound.” So I stopped.
Brig: It’s a good thing you said you don’t want to attach a voice to Harold: saying that an Elmo-style voice would be no good because it’s too sweet and unthreatening is a little worrying!
At any rate, be-hatted Harold is simply adorable 🙂 (but then you know about how I love the plushies!) 🙂
Hey, hold on a sec, Harold, uh, Bun-bun, no, Harold, did talk…
